Mountain Fruits operates in the northern areas of Pakistan known as Gilgit-Baltistan bordered by the Afghanistan to the north and the Xinjiang region of China to the east. The region is primarily composed of mountains and natural rangelands with natural forests while the remaining 10% consists of cultivated agricultural lands, farm forests, cultivable waste and uncultivated waste. Gilgit-Baltistan boasts a rich variety of plant and animal life due to its wide range of altitudes and associated variations in climate, soil conditions and exposure to sunlight. The region is home to some of the world’s highest mountain ranges.
